Once the file was there, I could select it in my debug configuration and the IO registers showed up in my debug perspective. Running the hardware debug once made them magically appear. After installing the plugins I was worried when I didn't see the IoFiles folder (or IO files) on my hard drive. Once I installed the e2studio plugins (which include CDT) everything appeared to be working normally.ģ) Be sure to read the known issue, 3642. Ģ) When running eclipse 3.8.2 before adding the e2studio plugins, there was no CDT installed so I didn't have an editor and thus couldn't display my.
For completeness, here's the link to the 32-bit version. I had to go to /./winPlatform.php to find 3.8.2. The Juno SR1 and Juno SR2 packages I found at eclipse's download pages use 4.2.1 and 4.2.2. The instructions say you need eclipse 3.8.1 or 3.8.2, but in parentheses it claims those versions are the same as Juno SR1 and Juno SR2. When trying to follow the instructions you posted above, I did run into one hurdle. The 'Separate Plug-ins' section on the e2studio website ( am././index.jsp) has incorrect instructions.
